Syntron® Parts Elevator
If packaging, assembly or processing lines need gentle elevation of parts, look to Syntron® Parts Elevators to do the job. These parts elevator units combine a hopper, vibratory trough feeder and inclined cleated belt to elevate parts to parts feeder or other processing points.
The vibratory trough feeder assured controlled flow of parts from the hopper to the parts elevator. All hoppers are manufactured with an adjustable gate to control depth of parts in the trough. This assures that parts are properly located onto the belt cleats.
Syntron® Parts Elevators can operate intermittently when signaled by a flow switch positioned beyond the discharge of the elevator. This flow switch signals the elevator to deliver parts when required.
The Parts Elevator is available with the standard discharge heights ranging from 41-1/2 to 134-1/4 inches, with either a 6 or 12 inch wide rubber cleated belt. Both belts have standard cleat spacing of 12 inches. Optional 6 inch cleat spacing is also available. For heights other than those please contact Homer City Automation.
The standard discharge chute has a 6 inch wide opening and is adjustable from a 15 to 45 degree slope.
Optional equipment includes a part diverter chute which provides two lines of flow, controlled independently from a single elevator.
These units can be supplied in 5, 10 or 15 cubic foot capacities. The hopper can be furnished with a vibrator to gently assist part flow from the hopper.
The standard control for the Parts Elevator operates the motor, vibratory trough feeder and optional hopper vibrator. The control operates from 230-460 volt, three phase, 60 cycle, AC power supply. An optional DC drive with variable speed control is available for operation from 115 volt, 60 cycle, single phase power supply; other voltages are available on request.
