Syntron® Belt Elevator Hopper
In applications where the part's shape or size hinders free-flow from conventional hoppers, the Syntron® Model BEH Belt Elevator Hopper feeds parts directly from the supply hopper onto a cleated belt, thus eliminating the need for an intermediate trough feeder between the hopper and belt elevator.
The belt elevator hopper design is advantageous in applications where product trends to bridge, preventing the parts from flowing readily from the throat of the supply hopper.
The belt elevator hopper offers an adjustable feed rate through its variable speed control and, with the addition of an optional flow switch, can operate intermittently.
Available in discharge heights ranging from 34 to 132 inches, the belt elevator hopper can be furnished with a 6 or 12 inch wide cleated rubber belt with 12 inch cleat spacing. For heights exceeding standard units, contact Homer City Automation. The discharge chute is available in standard widths of 6 or 12 inches, and is adjustable from a 35 to 55 degree slope. Hoppers for the belt elevator hopper are available in 5, 10, 15 or 20 cubic foot capacities.
The belt elevator hopper operates from 115 volt, 60 cycle, single phase power supply. This unit comes complete with a 90 volt DC motor and variable speed control, optional voltages available on request.
Stainless steel part contact surfaces & FDA belts are available for the belt hopper.
